My daughter and I put off buying her a new gaming laptop, partly with Black Friday in mind. Goal was to find something with the required specs under $1000. Didn't find any until earlier today, and now there are two. Asus TUF Gaming F15 at B&H and Acer Predator Helios at BestBuy, in case anyone's curious.

I always get a bit annoyed by seeing Wall Street analysts' or VCs' takes on the broader economy. Sometimes it's obvious that the person is trying to influence the market in the direction they've already betted on (e.g. Jamie Dimon every week). Other times it's obviously just a game to them, they'll be absurdly rich regardless, even though their flippant words could affect others in more tangible ways. We need more guillotines.
