Beckett says there’s no way he’s going out in this rain. This cushion is his guardian and will keep him safe and dry.
Here she is meeting our shy and beautiful Cooper through the glass. They probably met when he was living as a stray in the village. And here in the second photo is her father, properly feral enough that I’ve not been able to touch him yet, but he’ll now eat next to me, so we’re getting there. Shirl is fine with her mum, dad and our Oxley who is his sister from a later litter, but she HATES our girls.
Two years ago today this delightful twerp of a cat came to live in the outdoor studio with us, and after six months of winning our love, moved into the house where blankets abound. Happy Gotcha’ Day, Cooper ❤️🐾

#NotOurCat Shirley (Oxley’s sister/aunt) who hangs out in our garden has suddenly moved into the outdoor kennel which she has shunned for the whole summer, through torrential rain, and through the recent cold snap when it got down to -7. She also has a suspiciously round belly. Slightly worried we might be about to become grandparents.
