🔊🔊🔊 Since we got the alarms all wired up, we filmed Claire starting up the ringing plant from various angles. The bell and alarm lamps are normal at startup--the machine will be in alarm until its up to speed and generating properly.

Well this is true for new planes, older designs like the 737 (or most regional jets) do not have that feature.
They will usually have an indicator on the outside to show the door status.
The goal of the double thumbs up is for the ground crew and the flight crew to both confirm the door is disarmed.
