@1Bit
The peak of the 8-bit generation was the 6809 which was used in the ColorComputer (CoCo).

@alrs
Lars, you appear to have a much broader view of the political spectrum than what exists in the US.

Who do you hang out with to get your impression of the political left in the US?

@IrishAfricanAmerican

I am scared of stupid.

@N3VEM It was common in IEEE Spectrum until they banned the practice a few years ago.
@alrs
I don't see that vibe at all. And I live in the SF bay area. Pretty lefty.
@N3VEM
Commonly, this was used to attract candidates without a proper visa, etc.

@alrs
I don't see the equivalence.

The political-left vibe is mostly: "Russia go home."

One of the things I occasionally get paid to do by companies/execs is to tell them why everything seemed to SUDDENLY go wrong, and subs/readers dropped like a stone.

So, with everything going on at Twitter rn, time for a thread about the Trust Thermocline /1

@kwf
I like the hashtag! ;-)
@kelvin0mql The "system" does not figure out what you are interested in, like Facebook and Twitter.
It's up to you to self select what you want to see by which instance(s) you are on and any filters you set up.
