Hero: "I accept"
Proceeds to loot their every possession and life savings of 15 Gold to add to Hero's purse of 74K
Peasant: "You truly are the people's saviour"

I have watched every #gameawards and that was definitely the best one ever.
So many amazing games showcased.
The first 6 months of 2023 are jam packed with huge releases.

Messi is now available as DLC in Call of Duty. I wonder if he's hitbox is smaller? Like Odd Job in Goldeneye will Messi become the new meta and the banned character for house rules games.

I don't usually play Call of duty, but this year's entry is really good.
But am I the only one who feels uneasy that most the people I'm shooting in Campaign & Warzone are waves of Russian and brown people?

There are so many other groups you could bring in under the umbrella of Modern Warfare; White supremacists, ecoterrorists, far right fascists, European based nationalists (from Ireland, Basque, Corsica etc), nation backed hackers & misinformation etc.

My currently playing list on my Mastadon profile is getting too long.
I though we all agreed this was going to be a light year for Holiday releases.
2 weeks till Calisto Protocol and Marvel Midnight Suns get added to this list too.

I unlocked the Irish operator in Call of Duty, a redhead who's was affected by The Troubles.
The only thing missing to make this the Holy Trinity of Irish cliches is a crippling addiction to alcohol and potatoes.

Pentiment releases at 11pm PST tonight on Game Pass PC & Xbox.
I have worked on this game for over a year and I am in awe of what Josh Sawyer and his team at Obsidian have built.
My lifelong love of history was started by playing Age of Empires II, this game is going to do the same for a new generation. I've never played a game where the creators love of the source material was more evident.
