I am a career low-level bureaucrat for a medium-size American city. I support democracy and voting rights and enjoy watching #cricket and cheering on Forward Madison FC. The closest thing to coolness I approach is having gone to high school with @PadreSJ.
My niece is fostering a baby bunny. Polly want a carrot?
Merry Christmas to all!
More match day photos from #USAvCAN #CricketWorldCup match in Grand Prairie:
My head is still buzzing and my heart rate elevated after yesterday’s epic victory for USA Cricket. I’m going to take this opportunity to dump some pics from the opening match win vs Canada: here’s some pre-match action. #cricket #CricketWorldCup #usavcan
A few fun pics from the T20 World Cup opening match in Texas. A really fun evening and a great win for USA Cricket!
@electrobadger I’m at the England-Windies ODI at Kensington Oval and thinking of you. #cricket
I flew to Texas to help kick of Major League Cricket in America. Great pitch, good facilities, excellent catering options, and some of the best players in the world right before my eyes. Nortje bowled an absolute screamer that QDK dragged onto his middle stump. My San Francisco Unicorns beat the Mumbai Indians of New York handily. #SparkleArmy
It’s all over but the dishes for my Demisemiseptcentennial party, celebrating 175 years of Wisconsin statehood. I’m America, we consider that to be a pretty long time. I believe 175 years is what my British friends call “no need to preserve that, we have much nicer older buildings”
For the benefit of #Cricket fans on Mastodon, we are currently at 17/2 through the 8th over of the #Namibia run chase of 231/9 set by #USA. Coverage is free in most of the world at ICC.tv. The second over saw a double wicket maiden bowled by Yorker King Ali Khan. Come join us in the wonderful world of #AssociateCricket as the qualifier for the qualifier for #CWC2023 kicks off in Windhoek. 🇺🇸🇳🇦🏏🔥

I won’t name names, but I was scandalized when one of my breakfast companions told me he had walked across the front lawn after the gaudy the night before “for old times’ sake.” My feet have never trod on the front lawn at #TrinityCollege #oxford
