Fleeting Light in Melbury Woods

Now that the tourist season is in full flow, my local beach is often too busy for my style of photography so I determined to travel to the woods. I've been experimenting recently with macro photography but I only have a manual focus 7Artisans 60mm macro lens which is a bit challenging to use. Northam Burrows

The rain finally sort of stopped for a bit so I went for a walk around Northam Burrows. The dunes lost a fair bit in yesterday's storm but it's still a lovely place to walk even when the weather is set for grey.

The William Stevenson

PZ 195, The William Stevenson is a houseboat moored on the River Torridge near Bideford in North Devon, UK. This image was made on a misty morning in April. I was drawn to the jaunty angle of the access ladder hanging from the mooring rope.
