It’s our national holiday here in the province of Quebec today St. John Batista. Yes Quebec considered itself a nation within a nation so it’s a huge national even though most people outside of Quebec would call us provincial celebration celebrating the culture and lifestyle of Quebec starts at 2 o’clock this afternoon with a huge parade, then events all across the province and at various municipalities with concerts parties and gatherings to culminate with huge fireworks displays later on around 10:30 or 11 PM a time for people in Quebec to celebrate every June 24. John the Baptist is the patron saint of Quebec.

With respect to facebook and the videos tab how do you go about saving a video in there if you want to keep it on your FB video reel. I’m using the latest IOS with VO on a 16 Pro max.
So today while having coffee#1 as I typically do in the morning I was bored and took out my RayBan Meta glasses and turned on the French morning news show “sableux Bonjour” on TBA, the French equivalent to Global, CTV or city TV. I enable live translation on the glasses and what was being said on tv in French was showing up on the meta app in English on my phone. Very cool—a little behind but it works.
Does anyone know how to make TikTok fly with voiceover? I can get things to play and scroll to next and previous posts if I turn VO off but while that’s happening I can’t seem to figure out all the other stuff like sharing posts or commenting while things are playing. Rather confusing and frustrating, but I love to be able to make these things work. Envious of my wife who is sighted with the fact that she can do these things so easily.

Well, it looks as if to me at least that Clubhouse is becoming more accessible somewhat in its new 2.0 encarnation. I have created a house with old friends to try and rekindle some of that mood and the friendships we once had on there and I experimented with a room last night in my house and I had about eight people show up. A good start needless to say!
I would be interested in hearing. From those using voiceover or other screen reading software to hear about your experiences and how it’s working for you. It does take some time and effort and some work arounds to make it work but to my thinking it is worthwhile trying.

half the posts on one of the big UK subreddits are now anxiety posts. Young people who've never caught a bus, mailed a letter, filled a proscription, paid a bill. Literally, paid a bill. A bill comes with an amount and about a dozen ways to pay in black and white and rather than sit and read it, they turn to the net because they're anxious about what to do next.
The world has gone utterly off the rails.
