They concern trolled about terrorism, then armed Al Qaeda in Libya and Syria. They concern trolled about neo-Nazis, then armed neo-Nazis in Ukraine. They threw Uyghur separatists into Guantanamo, then concern trolled about those same groups. The empire has no principles. It only has interests.

Two weeks before the peak
People coming to "look" at the flood think they are doing us a favour... "helping" our economy whilst being almost as disruptive as the flood by making it hard to go about our daily lives. From weeks before Christmas we have had our town over taken by them and still at least two weeks to go to the peak and it will go on. There's more to a towns economy than a couple of pubs, 2 bakeries and a couple of shops...the townsfolk are just wanting to get on with their lives. I don't appreciate being told to walk everywhere by visitors taking up all the space asking ridiculous questions and displaying a complete absence of common sense and no grasp of geography
