For now, my #activism will take a quieter tone. It will be focused on #creativity, #friendship and #community. I will focus on #buyless and #buylocal. We're planting a #garden and creating #safespace for and spending time with our friends, family and neighbors who are #LGBTQ and people of color.
I'll be writing the letters, sending the emails, making the phone calls and giving the donations. But it may be a minute before I get out and get loud again. For now, I'm keeping my people close.

I love #weaving. My skills are pretty basic. I've mostly been weaving on #rigidheddle Now I'm learning how to weave on a #4shaftloom. I love #looms and #textilehistory.
This particular project is one of the first ones I've warped without help. Mistakes were made. We're on a break. So it sits in the middle of our tiny living room until I have the heart to go back and fix it, thread by thread. I'm happy to be learning so much from this project and yet, we're still on a break.
