I have worked for a very big dictionary for a very long time. When I'm not doing that I'm walking the dog, despairing of UK politics, and attempting a more eco-friendly lifestyle. Often all at once. Hoping to pop on here a bit more often.

Congress is once again pushing dangerous website-blocking laws, including the Foreign Anti-Digital Piracy Act (FADPA). These bills would let copyright holders get court orders to block entire websites, without due process, based on nothing but a hollow promise not to abuse their new power.

@tanjabueltmann I'm not sure of the etiquette here about linking to posts, but I thought you might be interested in this birdsong thread I posted yesterday. It's a skylark, first full speed and then slowed down a lot to hear what's going on.
