@GarethJonesTV Hi Gareth, I’m a little behind on my GJOS podcasts so I’ve only just listened to episode 486 when you move from London to Wales. I was getting emotional right there with you. You say the podcast isn’t about you, but it is. You’ve been in my ears for over ten years and radio (podcasts) are a far more personal medium than TV. The Twitter home feed's been down for most of this morning. Even though nothing loads, the Twitter website never stops trying and trying.
In the first video, notice the error message that I'm being rate limited. Then notice the jiggling scrollbar on the right.
The second video shows why it's jiggling. Twitter is firing off about 10 requests a second to itself to try and fetch content that never arrives because Elon's latest genius innovation is to block people from being able to read Twitter without logging in.
This likely created some hellish conditions that the engineers never envisioned and so we get this comedy of errors resulting in the most epic of self-owns, the self-DDOS.
Unbelievable. It's amateur hour.

Now he talks about software. I happen to know a lot about software & Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit I've ever heard anyone say, so when people say he's a genius I figure I should stay the hell away from his cars and rockets.

Does anyone know if there’s a tool that cal look at your Twitter followers and tell you if that name exists on Masterdon? I realise it wouldn’t be a guaranteed match as there’s no unique identifier to base it on, but anything is better than doing it manually.
