Dog knows when I’m having a lonely night.
He whines to be let outside, but doesn’t need to toilet. He just sits on my feet and watches the stars, until I watch them too. Then we are watching them together, and I don’t feel so alone.

Hey wonderful #geology people.
Does anyone know what the clear and reddish section of this river rock is? My daughter is quite taken by it. It’s from somewhere in Victoria, Australia (broad area, I know) and came to us in a delivery of river rocks for the garden. None of the other rocks have even a hint of quartz or other clear/reddish crystal. Any thoughts or ideas welcome. 🙏
