@luna I'm still using 10 and they still manage to make things annoying
When they added the news Its was such a distraction. Its really annoying because theoretically I think it can be done well, but then it's so broken in practice. It gives you a fraction of a headline, then I click to see what it's talking about, and then it's a where's Waldo on where the article is on a screen now filled with 80 completely irrelevant articles

@kiwa I started using a Thinkpad and it runs beautifully. I could go for a bit newer machine to try and dip my toes into later games, but I think I'll just get a late Vista Machine for that stuff

@pxlplz technical issues aside, man twitter really had been through it. It's so annoying to use now. They separated it between a "for you page" which gives me wayyy too many posts from people I don't follow, and they are all just predictable engagement-bait stuff. And the other tab, the "following" one shows a completely uncurated catalog of all things my follows do. So I end up seeing stuff just based on who posts most frequent, it's annoying to use it that way too!

@pxlplz in all honesty, in order to *truly* Garner the favor of the algorithms of *any* of the major online platforms, it requires at LEAST daily posting, if not more
It's basically its own job you gotta hire for now adays
