Bad idea: Electro-mechanical doom.

All the game logic is implemented through (magnetic) relay logic and cams triggering switches.

@foone also the relays are synced to sound like the doom soundtrack
@foone so doom on crabs, but worse
@foone If I had the money and time for this....
@foone call it Battleship :-)
@foone "Electro-mechanical doom" sounds like regular warfare
@foone I think it'd work fine, but each floor having to drop into place on the game machine makes it 18' tall at least.
@foone Would still use less electricity than that GenAI DOOM project that DeepMind did
@foone at least you won't have to implement sound effects for the gun firing
@foone I really want to hear that in action.
@foone Charles Babbage presents: Doom.
@tedmielczarek @foone Doom as one of those squirty water handheld toys
@joe @foone color me surprised that we never got a Tiger Electronics version of Doom!
@foone I guess the display would have to be mechanical? Some sort of matrix, either pins that can be raised/lowered, or maybe flip-style displays like train stations used to have?
@foone also known as "Loud" doom
@foone Five Nights on Phobos
