Sad that just a few years ago you could go to YouTube and search "how to make AI for games" and you'd get videos discussing game characters and ai logic, behaviour trees, etc.

Now you just get "make your game with ai in two hours!"

Shoutout to Tommy Thompson for his amazing videos, and the rare gems discussing character AI that show up once then vanish.

@emeraldeel I only just re-re-re discovered Texturer haha, this is a handy list!
It was actually really fun to try and make something as fast and messy as possible - probably most of the heavy lifting done in about 4 hours.
Made a demon nun for no reason in particular. But now I've made it I feel obligated to make a horror game 😅 #IndieHorrorGame #IndieGame #IndieGameDev
@jitspoe while that's trippy to look at, it's even more holographic when you look outside the image. Cool stuff.
@bram this might help?

Slight redesign for this creature, I'm thinking 10 legs but then I remember I have to animate that 🙃

@leetNightshade @obsidian I always liked it, thought it made it unique. But then things like that usually go over my head 😄
@sinvega @max the yellow paint haunts me. Like x-ray sensors in every open world game now. Sorry going off topic.
@sinvega @max after watching playthroughs it's the games that don't have the obligatory "jump here" and "crouch here" that confuse players and they then wonder why they can't get passed. It's like the "yellow paint" indicating "you can grab this ledge".
