@sinvega It’s started to amuse me that the first Halo game started with a look/walk test because that was thought to be a necessary accessibility check. It was the dawn of gamepad gaming and they felt they couldn’t assume the stick directions you’d prefer, and would auto-invert or ask to invert directions based on your first few motions. I think so many games copied it without realizing that accessibility check to it, including later Halo games. I started “failing” them to see which ones offer 😹
@sinvega @max after watching playthroughs it's the games that don't have the obligatory "jump here" and "crouch here" that confuse players and they then wonder why they can't get passed. It's like the "yellow paint" indicating "you can grab this ledge".
