They've updated chat GPT-3's mathematical capabilities and for the first time it can correctly answer a question from the standard 3-item cognitive reflection test (something I use to statistically predict whether people will share misinformation).

While it still fails the other two, getting one question correct means it now does better than the average human.

GPT-3 ai might be fast and smart at some things, but I just tested it and it failed every item of a standard 3-item cognitive reflection test.
