Sarah GilbertAs someone who was part of the migration, I really enjoyed reading these preliminary results from a survey on migration from Twitter to Mastodon by @cfiesler, @bkeegan and @MattNicholson. I also appreciated the inclusion of thoughtful articles on why migration is harder for some groups than others, which may not surface through survey methodologies.

I'm Matt, and am I a PhD student in Information Science at CU Boulder! I study cooperation and governance in online communities. I am also really interested in promoting computational literacy broadly, but especially in novice contexts.
Outside of work stuff, I am a big fan of the television show Survivor, White Sox baseball, and hosting dinner parties centered around a bad pun!
