Dinant is cursed.
Today was the fourth time I tried to run the Descente de la Lesse.
1st time: DNF, fell, sprained my ankle.
2nd time: DNS, injury the week before.
3rd time: DNS, injury after casual run the day before.
4rd time (this time): finished but twisted my ankle 6k before the finish line.
Every other run: not a problem. But this one..
So I’m done. Never coming back to this town.
Last week I ran over the Øresund Bridge. Because of the 25 year anniversary they closed down one side for runners. It was a great experience. The start in the tunnel (hot!), the bridge towers coming up and running into Sweden. Despite some organisational flaws (stuck 300meter before the finish, had to wait for more than 5 hours to get back to Denmark) it was fun and an once in a lifetime run :) #run #running #bridgerun2025 #broloppet
What’s the easiest way to plan a running route in an area unknown to you? I use komoot but the suggestions are sometimes more like trailrunning instead of running. #run #running #runnersofmastodon
