It’s time for me to complain about how hot & humid it is already. It’s 83°F & the dew point is 69°F. 🥵 Pic from yesterday afternoon.

Did you get to see yesterday’s eclipse? We were in the path of totality here in Oxford, Ohio! It was amazing. The temperature dropped, light was strange before totality, spring peepers started up when it got dark, tulips closed up. It was so dark at 3:10pm. 🌞🌕🕶️ #eclipse2024

Any #geology people know what kind of #rocks these are? I brought them back from #Kenya but don’t know. I thought maybe some kind of #quartz? Light shines through them (they’re not totally opaque). Thanks!
