I have a social media in the 2020's style problem.
Our son has resigned his job to spend a year going around Australia in a caravan with his wife and 3 y old daughter.
He and his wife post to various accounts on Instagram, Facebook, send email newsletters etc. Sometimes repeating stories, sometimes unique. I'm keen to follow their travels, but GOD, I wish they'd just _blog_ on one account. (yes, I know... I liked the Internet in the mid 90s and like and blogged in the 2010s https://coomans.com/tm/ ).
Earlier, RSS was the great white hope to help aggregate feeds, but the big boys would rather have proprietary systems.
Still, it looks like there are some moves afoot to get compatibility between systems, but somehow I think the big boys and girls are not really committed to sharing stuff sensibly.
Does anyone have practical suggestions on how to aggregate today's services into one feed?
