I needed a very quick headshot for something, so I tried out an AI headshot service. It came in handy. And by that I mean the photos came with weird hands.

Also I’m not sure what I actually look like anymore.

Yesterday I visited Keys Ranch, a 1910 homestead nestled in the heart of Joshua Tree National Park and only accessible via a guided tour.

The ranger said that Bill Keys, when he was nearing the end of his life and knew that the homestead would become a site for tours, purposefully arranged his possessions in a way that would tell his story.

Isn’t that what we all hope for? Not just for our story to be told, but for the ability to shape our narrative.
