I finished my sweater, and it is very comfy and I may never take it off. Plotting my next sweater, but I can’t settle on a colour. Yarn is Sweet Georgia Tough Love Sock, pattern is a custom fit, but I got my inspiration from Jacqueline Cieslak’s Rift.

Trying to decide if this beanie hat is long enough. It fits my head and covers my ears. My original design is on the right, but it's in chunky weight yarn. The left is modified with two strands of sock yarn. I think I'll just put it in time out for a while.

Finished the rainbow stripy glitter socks yesterday, and finally got around to casting on for my sweater.
Socks are just plain/no pattern, using Fish Lip Kiss heels, in Vesper Sock Yarn from Knitterly Things, bought from McWalker Yarns.
Sweater is using Sweet Georgia Tough Love Sock, and I am alternating skeins using the helical method.

My last post got eaten. I learned a new technique today while I dhould have been finishing the wee cardigan. I want an afghan with flower hexagons. I thought I had a pattern finalized (learned a lot of techniques) but it wasn’t quite right. Discovered front post stitches today and this is much more like what I had in mind. It also looks like the Demagorgon from Stranger Things. Newest version on the left,in blue, old version on the right, in purple. #crochet

Oh right! I have new stitch markers!

I still don’t get an ear, but that’s a pretty loaf.

I am a knitter and never really understood crochet terminology. Long ago I found a crochet square pattern that I loved, but never managed to make. This year I was inspired by my son’s girlfriend’s venture into crochet and finally had a decent internet connection and found a video tutorial for that pattern. Finally found a way to use up all my leftover bits of sock yarn! I also figured it would take me years to finish the thing, but I finished the border in October.
