I know #reaperminiatures paints aren’t the favorite brand for many or as trendy as some others, but I’ve always had good luck with them.
Until recently when I ordered a bottle of Brilliant Blue from a 3rd party to replace an empty bottle. It was much darker than expected. I mixed it like crazy but it’s clearly darker.
I ordered a botttle direct from Reaper and am hopeful it’s normal. It looks a lot better.
Boingboing.com is a great example of why #adblocking is required for normal use. I use pretty minimal but it trips their block detection, so disabled it to see and, well…

I’ve had a half-assed idea that the web needs some sort of voluntary agreement to stick to limited non-intrusive ads that the user’s ad-blocker can be set to allow but this isn’t it. Makes the reading experience miserable.
I think the desktop also uses a ‘chum box’ which is pretty low-tier customer unfriendly as well.
