@justine curious, what in particular made you switch?

@felix_eckhardt Are you referring to any service in particular when you say "anything reliable"?

I'm not sure these organizations will be defunded to non-existence, but regardless I think certain services like a vulnerability database or threat intel repo could be maintained by the community. I do think the threat to other services is worrisome; CISA's efforts to aid small business, particularly in utilities/critical infrastructure, should be prioritized.

A communal meal

People gather by the rubble of destroyed buildings for a communal iftar in the area of al-Dahduh in Gaza City’s Tal al-Hawa district on March 2, 2025 [Omar Al-Qattaa/AFP]

A scene from a post-apocalyptic dystopian movie, except it's reality and the apocalypse is in progress, merely temporarily paused...

@indigo lol that sounds like more work than using any legit tool
@untsukonpiiu @estevez I'm curious on your take as to how obsidian is complicated? To me it just seems to be a markdown notes app. Maybe there's more functionality than I realized
@ben I agree, nprobe’s website seems to suggest all the versions require a license. I run the ntopng pfsense package and it runs 24/7
@jokeyrhyme I was using .lan for my local services but I became annoyed when my preferred browser treated 'someservice.lan' as a web search instead of trying to resolve DNS and go to a webpage. I then switched to .local, without knowing this mDNS fun fact. Might switch to something else now.

I'm new here, decided to try it out because of its mention in the video.

Is the "explore" page not effective at finding new stuff?
