Slowly trying to recover the pharmacy from a terrible floater followed by a callout. We ended today less in the red than yesterday, so... progress!

Still keep having to re-read my acceptance letter to remind myself that it's real! In just over a year, I'm going to be starting my career as a surgical tech! HOLY SHIT!

Just did 3 injections to get my immunizer certification. Both people I injected said they barely felt a thing. Now I'm retroactively mad at everyone who ever gave me a painful shot because FFS if I can do this with zero experience then literally anyone can. 😑

Spent a small chunk of time knocking down the dead annuals in my meadow so my neighbors are less likely to complain, and then finished plying some of my yarn to clear some bobbins off. I know I should keep going on one of the many #spinning projects I've started, but the new shiny rovings are calling to me...

Putting all the good karma I can out into the world this week. Gotta boost my luck stat for this interview. Plus it's just nice to be nice.

Found a cheap wine that is delicious and available in bulk from Costco. Life is good.

Something they don't warn you about when you take a job as a #Pharmacy tech: You'll get to know your patients. And you'll get to know the meds. And you'll understand what it means when certain meds change. And you'll look their families in the eye when they come in with that bag of amber vials for disposal and hurt for them.
