Got into a small debate on the topic of web3 gaming.

If you are reading this and think web3 gaming is the future, can you explain why and how it's enhanced being "web3"

I don't see how it is enhanced and most of the reasons spoken to me are all capable without going web3 / blockchain. Which begs another question if you need money to enjoy your game, why are you gaming ?

I know Twitter is mentioned a lot but for the sake of being on the record. What Elon is doing to the bird site is insane.

I'll be a dad in 4 months and as a prospective father, I'm pretty sure Musk is having a full blown tantrum. A very expensive one too.

I expect my son to eventually have his own tantrum one day but hopefully it will be a learning experience for him and he'll grow up to never act like Elon Musk again.

I'm still reading up on Self Soverign Identity, so please correct me if I get this wrong but if the user is now the custodian for all their own documentation and who can see what. Does this not remove a bunch of security layers and narrow down the attack vector to the single device or ID wallet.

Exploit the ID wallet and score everything. That's the criticism I have or have I missed a crucial part of the Wallets design?

It sounds like snake oil to me and is promising a future internet that will never be fulfilled.

Does anyone have any documentation or maybe can link to any information about the consensus algorithm Proof of Responsibility ?

I've heard claims that it protects against a 51% attack but I cannot find anything beyond what Electroneum say and the claims were't using Electroneum apparently.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and a huge help in my research.

Issue 3 is an investigation into a recent NFT (told you it was gross) sale. This NFT was a real house though and while those shilling this event in #blockchain history, I did some digging to scrutinise what seemed just a bit stanky.
