Being a spectator to this misery breaks me on a daily basis. May the light fade while you sleep. May the road be short. May the end bring you comfort.

PossumWhenever a police car lights up its sirens nearby, there's a bird a few properties up that starts mimicking it. That bird then sets the local curlews off, which then sets off curlews further away, and you can hear this cop->rando parrot->curlew grapevine go on for miles.
Even five minutes later, you can hear way back in the distance the curlew chain continuing to carry on. All because there's some parrot that likes cop sirens
