This capture absolutely floored me.
Way, way past my bedtime but itâs been 24 hours of very tiring possum wrangling. I succeeded in getting it out of my little apartment tho with some good advice from a possum expert and no harm to it or me. So relieved, and will sleep a lot better than last night when I kept hearing it scuffling around in the living room doing itâs nocturnal adventuring. đ¤ˇââď¸ So, phew. And goodnight all. â¨
This is a small piece of a fresh Lions Mane mushroom I bought at a produce market last weekend. I was curious as Iâve only seen it before ground up in costly little bottles in health stores. I fried a bit in butter and liked it and added some to a stew I was making, also worked well. Itâs said to be incredibly good for the brain & various other organs, but this might just be hype. Interesting looking critter though, and ca see how it got its name.
Possum has finally gone, I think. What a relief. đ¤
