Cooper’s hawk in my backyard. Every year, they have their babies in my pine tree. I set out water but otherwise avoid my yard while the juveniles are learning to fly. They hang out on the ground or in bushes but can’t get back into the tree until they figure out those wings…

The saguaros are so beautifully fat right now. They will accordian up tight through the coming dry season. I worry about them when they don’t get their winter rains, but this year, they’re happy. ❤️
