I keep reaching out to friends to see them and they all have #COVID so yeah everything is “normal”
I’m so tired. Fascism and late stage capitalism during a pandemic and climate crisis is exhausting.
Leftists/ movement ppl need to stop ignoring COVID not just bc it’s wrong to do so and excludes the vulnerable, but also bc I genuinely think the left will fail w/ out changing course. You can’t sustain movements w/ everyone sick/ disabled/ experiencing loss without pause. There won’t be anyone left to volunteer soon yall. Working people are not okay.

A fun thought- we don’t yet know what the average life expectancy is for children or adults after one COVID infection. Or 2. Or 3. Or 4. Or 5. Or 6.
But we know COVID damages virtually all organs so it seems like a huge gamble to reinfect everyone on loop? Am I wrong?
There are so many parallels between how society treats #covid & the #climatecrisis. Both collective/ systemic problems fueled by the wealthy & capitalism where individual actions still have a moral component- and where the majority of people are in denial. Something I think about.
