I know this is horrible, I know this is depressing, and I know this must never be forgotten. THIS is Amerikkka.
"On this day in 1917, one of the worst racial massacres in U.S. history ended after three days in East St. Louis, Illinois. After Black workers were given jobs in a factory that received government contracts, White workers began stabbing, beating and killing them. As many as a 100 or more were killed, hundreds more were injured, and 6,000 were driven from their homes.
"Everyone who terrifies you is 65% water. And everyone you love is made of stardust,
and I know sometimes you can not breathe deeply, and the night sky is no home, and that you are down to your last two percent, but nothing is infinite, not even loss.
You are made of the sea and the stars, and one day, you are going to find yourself again."
