BREAKING: The pediatrics group suing to ban the abortion drug mifepristone has suffered a major breach. WIRED is reviewing 10K leaked files. The group promotes junk science & anti-trans views and has been labeled a hate group.

The suit brought by Grossberg is primary aimed at people who worked on Carlson's show. It accuses him personally of creating and condoning a misogynistic workplace environment (including jokes about which women in politics his staff would have sex with), and antisemitic jokes about employees who, like Grossberg, are Jewish. A lot of this behavior is attributed to Tucker staff member Alexander McCaskill.
LA Times now with sources "familiar" claiming Murdoch personally pushed Carlson out, citing specifically the lawsuit filed by ex-producer Abby Grossberg.

Asked by Semafor if Tucker Carlson's firing had anything to do with a harassment lawsuit recently filed by a former Fox News producer -- one who'd worked on Carlson's show -- the ex-producer's attorney responded: "I have no comment on those reports other than to say that timing is a matter of physics, and as such is undeniable.”

Ars story on the legal intricacies of "soliciting" materials from hackers:
"Steinsapir [said] that to prove a journalist solicited hacked materials would require a different timeline than what seemingly took place with Walsh’s phone. It would only be considered 'soliciting' if a journalist had clear intent to access Walsh’s private information by working with the hacker ahead of the hack, not requesting to review the materials after the hack, as Cameron seemingly did."
For, uh, reasons, I’ve been in more chats with bosses at my company this week. I used one such occasion this morning to note that we have day old tweets people have only shared maybe eight times, and that if we had an account on Mastodon that would literally never happen.
