Good Morning #fediverse🌿
After that concern has entered my life on a daily basis, I thought that looking at some projects that are a pure team and joint - work effort can remind me that we can really move mountains if we unite for a greater cause.
This is the footage of the first of nine planet flybys that BepiColombo will make on its way to #Mercury.
During its first swing by it took pictures of our beautiful home - Earth🕊️

We are a grassroots, Global South-driven initiative connecting social & climate justice struggles by uniting labor, social and climate movements from the Global South & North toward a common goal of turning debt-trap diplomacy on its head by canceling the debt of impoverished nations as a way to pay for leaving fossil fuels in the ground and financing a just transition. The implementation of a global Debt-for-Climate initiative has the potential to leave trillions of dollars in fossil fuel reserves in the ground, while freeing countries from a strangling debt burden often used as a tool for further extraction of natural resources. We are organizing a global action to push these demands during the G7 meeting on June 26-28. Join us!

Many shades of green🌿
I assume green colour in leaves is the result of the chlorophyll-light absorption.
But what I do not understand are the different nuances of #green that we can see in different species ...
Apart from illumination, what is it that makes leaves of one tree shine in a yellowish green while others please us in a darker bluish tinge?
Is it the density of the leaf tissue, the chlorophyll concentration/distribution or a "magic ingredient"?
Probably a question for a #botanist? 🙏
