I've been doing python and linux longer than some of the people here have been alive. I've written applications and I've glued services together. I've more than once written automation, and I know which way is up on a pager.
My favorite thing is internal tools. I get to know my users and problem space very well, and I'm directly improving people's lives (a tiny bit).

My son found a camera when he was Magnet fishing on the Zaanse schans a year ago. Then I got sick and couldn´t do anything with this camera.
We found her! The media has been send to her. So this search has ended.

I installed Linux Mint on wife's computer. She happy with it (web browsing, webmail, vlc are the principal use),
It does not automatic update but it propose a slert when update are available and the application is very simple to use.
