The time of the year is slowly but steadily coming again for the noctilucent clouds. It's practically impossible to forecast them, so whenever you hear the media talking about them coming someday soon, please know they're talking out of their arse. But I sure hope we'll get another couple of displays this year, like the one I had the pleasure of witnessing at the Zaanse Schans 30th of June last year.

People by now are probably starting to get sick and tired of it, so let me add to the sickness and fatigue with another northern lights photo. 😜

The composition of this photo isn't great. The lens that I used wasn't wide angle enough to put more of especially the cheese farm on the right on the photo better, and I couldn't quite choose between the windmills and the cheese farm either.

Under normal circumstances, I more than likely would have thrown this photo away. But the northern lights change everything. 😅

But seriously, much like the night of the 10th to the 11th of May 2024, and to somewhat of a lesser extent the evening of the 10th of October 2024, the evening of the 19th of January 2026 is one I'm going to remember for a long time. 🙂
