Funding for the group led by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas's wife was channeled through a right-wing think tank, an arrangement that effectively shielded key operational details from public view, a Post investigation found.
We are over $250k on our fundraiser. Our board told us they had only $170k in reserve and had no choice to shut us down. We've proven the people of Texas and the world care about our future. Now we wait to hear from them.
Keep sharing our story, and follow @kitoconnell or @oconnell for updates in case they shut us down here.

In the words of the wise Maya Angelou, "When people show you who they are, believe them."
If I block, it's because I believe you've already shown me who you are.
Ignore the anti-union propaganda from corporate America.
If unions were actually bad for workers, corporations wouldn't need to spend millions of dollars on union-busting.
@ech 99.99% of all people engaged in sports are competing in leagues based on how good they actually are at the sport. So indeed, for 99.99% of all athletes, why not totally abandon women's sports and make it all mixed?
The only real issue at hand is top pro athletes. At that level, in most sports, men are at an advantage over women for many reasons including but not limited to hormonal, physical, societal, cultural, financial... But if you look at the absolute global top of any sport, the difference is always made by some unfair physiological advantage. Like the Olympic swimmer Phelps who had a malformed ribcage that reduced his drag while swimming, or the Fastest Man Alive, Usain Bolt, whose muscles, due to a genetic fluke, produce less lactic acid while under extreme stress, so he's less prone to cramps.
So basically, 99.99% of athletes compete in fair games because they're classed based on how good they are in order to always compete against opponents of comparable level. 0.01% of athletes compete in unfair games because at their top level, it's all about unfair advantages over the competition. Why would some unfair advantages be allowed, while others are banned? Make it make sense.
@imdat @WGAvanDijk @MxAlba I spent many years repeating the don't-feed-the-trolls mantra. Here's the article that set me straight:
