Not all Frenchmen, and not all Americans.
Also, can we please stop promoting the "Americans are mad at the French during WWII" sil vous plait! Merci/
You'd think making a game with online access that doesn't lag everything else on your computer, would be basic engineering.
The internet is like, ... so basic, I'm surprised futurists haven't even discussed it.

It drives me nuts when Science fiction depicts a civilization as so incredibly advanced, and yet they don't have anything remotely approaching the internet.

The internet is, like, how you do shopping and stuff. How can you have an advanced civilization without it?

@vicorva That reminds me, writing group or not, do you like gothic fiction?:D

I wish there was a lot more Gothic science fiction at times.

People that say writing advice like "Get your butt in chair" seem gloriously ignorant of people's concentration ability, when your neighbor is constantly stomping on your god damn roof.

The Mousieur Of Paris was a reviled man, and he was instrumental in helping create the guillotined. Which later went onto be used by Hitler to commit Genocide.

... Yea I'd say reviling Charles Henry Sanson is appropriate.

A video on the science of aging, going to watch one on Life Extension soon.

The cynical part of says, "Sure, we may have this technology, but do you seriously think anybody besides the rich will have it?" Yes, Isaac seems that ... out of touch, sometimes.

Normally the night mode thing would be a non issue, but Waterfox/Firefox freeze and crashes on this newer laptop. So I'm having to basically use Beaker Browser (really designed for the peer to peer web) for basic network communication.
