@dell More like banned for embarrassing Twitter and exposing a weakness, exacerbated if not caused by Musk firing so many people from critical roles.

@amcooper I disagree about it being inherently abusive, but I definitely agree that the goal should be to have them all on a .gov space, if only to make it easier to know they are authentic.
@amcooper They do send bulletins to users via their website, email, and via tweets. Being on Mastodon just broadens their reach. I am totally uninvolved, but from my attempts over the last hour or two to dig to the bottom of this controversy, it seems like CISA hasn't said a word yet about it, and nobody was even mentioning them, other than the initial announcement from the admin of infosec.exchange, until people started posting about de-federating the server because CISA joined.
@Adman on top of my local solutions in my browser and on my computer, I use a combination of Zen Amor (also known as Sensei) and custom firewall rules in OPNSense.
