@MooseAllain Yeah, you were supposed to be back ages ago. We told them you'd pick up the tab.
@Floppy I've noted that one for years. At one point it was common to sites owned by a large media chain, the name of which escapes me. That variant even gave you an estimated time of around 2 minutes; I presume that crashing the process was considered a tacit acceptance,
@CrackedWindscreen It's a good business model for them, especially when they get you to return the used bags so they can empty them out onto the design desk.

@CrackedWindscreen Motion sickness inside VR inside a car clearly isn't going to be any sort of problem at all in any way...

Cynic in me says they're trying to hoover up investors pouring away from other platforms but haven't quite connected the dots over why :)

@vinc @mrjalco You don't have to take the wheel off on my Accord, but you do have to snake your hand up inside the lining and change the sidelight bulb by touch, losing a lot of skin in the process.
@mrjalco You can fit an Xbox in your pyjamas? #wakkawakkawakka
@CrackedWindscreen @mrjalco A lot of drafting tables were tiltable so you could see the work square on and wouldn't be thrown out by perspective. Not sure if it's a progression from that?
@mrjalco It's a 3 litre engine, and it has a 3 litre badge on the boot'

@mrjalco I managed to get over the first by developing a series of tricks and tactics over the years, and I sort of do that for a living now :)

For the second - substitute cars for guitars, and we're brothers in arms :)

@0d_billie @garius Beat me to it :) Her work is everything sci-fi feels like it's been missing for years. Open hearted, and focusing more on the way people navigate the future rather than the tech they use.

Best of all, I love that her starting position with races and relationships is always 'this is how things are' with no attempt to justify them. Lots of people are pretty bad at doing that in the present, so the future seems the perfect place to make the point without compromise :)
