Just took me 20 mins to change the battery on the Leon because VW see fit to make you remove 4 pieces of trim to reach the battery clamp. Stupid modern cars. Used to take 5 mins back in the day.

@mrjalco to change the headlight bulb on a Tesla Model S you have to remove the corresponding front tire and lining.

I should make a t-shirt with that line.

@vinc @mrjalco I think early ones are HID so should last ok. Changing the 12v battery is a bit of a swine as well!

@vinc it’s just… I mean… urgh. Honestly, as a designer I know engineering limitations require compromise sometimes, but really now, that is incredibly stupid.

@vinc @mrjalco You don't have to take the wheel off on my Accord, but you do have to snake your hand up inside the lining and change the sidelight bulb by touch, losing a lot of skin in the process.
