Another Christmas with both of us ill, family far away, and no desire to cook or even open presents. Even the dog is poorly.

On his trip back from the US, Zelenskyy flys over Macron and Scholz, but does find time for a meeting with the Polish president. Easy to imagine there's an unspoken message for France and Germany here, but neither did Zelenskyy stop in on Sunak in the UK.
Zelenskyi has left the USA and is already in Poland. He met with President Andrzej Duda. A round trip to friends.

Don't ask why I can remember I was listening to an episode of the podcast "I am the EggPod", which was doing a deep dive into Get Back, day by day throughout January. Think this might have been the day Billy Preston shows up and saves the whole project.

I read his previous book – Poverty Safari – which really made me re-evaluate how I see poverty and how we can help people to help themselves without falling into tribalism. So I'm looking forward to getting cracking into this one.
