On this day in 1966, the waste tips began to move and slid down to the village, burying the school where the day had just started.
We were miles and miles away and I was small, but my parents were teachers they never forgot this day.

Daily #Wales and #Caturday with the lovely Moll, one of our visiting village cats. She went peacefully over the rainbow bridge this week - at nearly 21. And with her actual / nominal ‘owners’… 😉
Here she is, typically disporting herself somewhere other than where she officially lived. Natch.
