Donald John Trump has announced his candidacy to seek the Republican nomination for president of the United States of America in 2024. Standing in the front row for the announcement were Dick Morris, Mike Lindell and Madison Cawthorn. Like all public spectacles at which Trump appears, it was venal and incoherent, while also being dangerous, ominous and exhausting. It guarantees that Trump will be part of the present for at least two more years, extending his insipid reign to nine years of grotesquerie since he descended an escalator into his first campaign spewing racist calumnies in 2015.
Marianne North traveled to 6 continents & 17 countries, painting exotic plants in remote & hazardous jungles… all while traveling alone in Victorian dress in the 1800s.

@juddlegum the psychological issues that journalists seem to be avoiding like the plague: the loss of social structures that previously would have shamed individuals into silence, as they do know what they’re proposing is inhumane. Millions of Floridians, and millions of Texans voted for this mindset to continue, this virus of the mind is a symptom of the de-evolution of the social structures that took well over 50 years to build.
