Kaiannanthi is a fully grown, bill-paying adult. Sweet, but with a depth of flavour that comes with familiarity. Not edible. Unashamed fan of pretty much everything Neil Gaiman has ever done, will ever do. Invented the souvenir penny press but forgot to tell anyone.

It's a podcast to fall asleep to. John Moe interviews people on subjects they can be dull about and witter on endlessly. Will me droning on about bagel-making, beekeeping and water kefir grains put you to sleep? Are Mastodon folk the kind who will listen to the end?

Neil Gaiman Will Not Name His Sourdough Starter | Maximum Fun

Neil Gaiman is perhaps least-known for his interest in SCOBY-s (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast), but that will no doubt change now that this episode has aired. Gaiman is a bestselling author…

I showed it to my husband: “that is not a little book, it is big.”

The coconut octopus is found in tropical waters of the western Pacific. It feeds on shrimp, crabs, and clams, and displays unusual behavior including bipedal walking and tool use; it gathers coconut shells and seashells and uses them for shelter.

It displays a color pattern with dark ramified lines similar to veins, normally with a yellow siphon. The arms are usually darker, with contrasting white suckers.

If conservative radicals who've stolen our courts were actually "originalists" they would take a very dim view of the government arresting people for no reason. "You cannot arrest someone without a good reason" is like the literal oldest thing in Common Law. But instead the doctrine is the nonsensical Qualified Immunity of "cops can do whatever they want to with no consequences." https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/supreme-court/supreme-court-rejects-ohio-mans-bid-sue-police-arrest-facebook-parody-rcna70435

Heaven forbid

We’ve seen this sad trend where cops violate the constitutional rights of journalists. Our Indigenous brothers & sisters also continue to suffer from wrongful arrest on their land. Thank you The Narwhal & Amber Bracken for courageously standing your ground & pursuing justice.
