Unfettered highway capacity ruined downtown KCMO for a generation, emptying it daily + covering it in asphalt. South Loop Link + North Loop proposals confirm we want a new direction. Adding taxpayer-funded road capacity for occasional sports games is a non-starter.

Walked to dinner from our temporary digs (bathroom remodel), so I got to cross 119th & Metcalf on foot for the first time. This side path was the better choice so I could cross the remainder at 115th. Passed one panhandler and a cyclist. #visionzero #overlandpark #kansas #walking #pedestrian #kansascity
