So today I built Salty Walt's (K4OGO) 17.5 antenna, lashed it to the side of the porch, hooked up my new G90, and promptly made a contact in Hungary.
First DX contact and first HF contact that was not during field day.

I am just getting started.

It's ugly but it is stable and removable. And best of all, no screws. 👍

I had pretty modest expectations but this custom plate is pretty awesome.
