@lynX If you see "View candidates" and "Read more", you should also see a button to vote, if eligible. Maybe you don't meet the requirements, e.g. haven't verified your account, signed up after June 1 or voted already. The vote page itself is https://internal.diem25.org/elections/1/voting , if you go there it should have an error message at the top telling you what's wrong.
@lynX Github repo available to all DiEMers with Rails experience who volunteer to help. Team-based, not public, because making it public is just an invitation for hackers to find exploits. Given the size of our movement, falsified votes would be very obvious. Publishing however would kill DiEM25 by laying open who-likes-who.
@lynX Afaik there is no way for Google to know how you vote simply based on the fact that you opened the voting page, or used their automatic translation (sadly DiEM25 does not have the finances to have human translation for all languages). I will ask friends.
Stodolsky, are you also going to mention that the review came back positive and that your posts were published? It's not unusual for moderators to take a few hours to review posts that have a potential legal impact.
@lynX There must be a mistake; we consciously do not use Google Analytics on either diem25.org or the Members Area. The code of the voting system is not closed-source, any DiEMer with Rails experience can apply to be on the team.
@Wessel_Dublin @aral Clash with privacy needs too. One of Yanis' advisors on banking regulation was a mid-level banker who saw that what they were doing was wrong and wanted the state to step in. However, revealing his participation in the drafting of banking regulation would have lost his job, which he couldn't afford. I think that we should evaluate all policy proposals based on content and not whether they came from an video game nerd or a professor. And ditto in politics: content over names.

The CC has just decided to extend the discussion period about the ways DiEM25 will try to influence politics (namely, whether we should explore endorsing parties, having DiEM25 lists or DiEM25 parties, in addition to what we're already doing). The new deadline for contributing your opinion about this question of principle is the end of September.

@pedrojuan Hey, afaik there are currently 4 DiD people on the mailing list (Wessel, Ezekiel, Guilherme, David). That is more than we allow for DSCs, which only get 1-2 people each, in order not to bloat everybody's inboxes. Please send the invitation through one of them.
