#MarkRutte #Debat #TweedeKamer
I do miss Twitters “For You” tab here. Most recently I found it rather useful to me.

Okay, since people want Apollo merch a lot more than I thought, I worked with Cotton Bureau on a special promo code.

For a short period, if you enter RIPAPOLLO you'll get 10% off + free shipping (50% off international shipping).

(Thanks everyone for supporting 🥹)

What’s this #FediPact ?

Folks, get off Twitter. I don’t care where you go, be it Bluesky or the Fediverse, but leave Twitter.

Your continued involvement on Twitter supports this.

#PHP tip: array_column function can also return a list of objects properties. Very useful now that we can create readonly properties in DTO

I have zero faith in Steve Huffman’s ability to lead Reddit.

What kind of chief executive officer posts this comment after a massive community backlash? https://www.reddit.com/r/reddit/comments/145bram/addressing_the_community_about_changes_to_our_api/jnk45rr/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1&context=3

Addressing the community about changes to our API

>How do you address the concerns of users who feel that Reddit has become increasingly profit-driven and less focused on community...

The Verge title: “Reddit will exempt accessibility-focused apps from its unpopular API pricing changes”

My alternative title: “Reddit doesn't want to spend their own money on making their site accessible and wants others to do it, but only if they do it for free.”

Reddit will exempt accessibility-focused apps from its unpopular API pricing changes

Reddit is creating an exemption to its unpopular new API pricing terms for apps focused on accessibility. Blind users had protested the changes because they could harm apps that help them browse the site.

We never had the chance to shutdown Tweetbot but I probably would've made the same choice in Apollo's situation. For all of Twitter's 1.0 fault they weren't ever actively trying to kill us off. Sometimes they discouraged us, sometimes they encouraged, sometimes they ignore us.

Reddit is actively trying to get rid of 3rd party clients. No other way to view what's going on. You might be able to continue to plod along, but who the hell would want to?

@christianselig did you hide the tip jar in Apollo?
